We hope to present the very best photography of women in black and white. Sometimes we will focus on specific models or photographers or collections or on a specific social scene or subculture.

Submissions by viewers/readers are encouraged.  If you wish to send photographs for consideration, email in jpg format to dankprofessor@msn.com  Please include your name, name of model and name of photographer, if known.  If you are contributing a copyrighted photo, please indicate such is the case.   When necessary please provide permissions.

INFORMATION IS PROVIDED ON SPECIFIC PHOTOGRAPHS, such as photographer and name of model, is provided at times in the initial comment following the photograph(s). If you hold the copyright to a specific photograph and do not wish to have the photo appear on this blog, email me and the photo will be removed.

The creator and editor of the blog is Barry M. Dank.  He retired in 2010 as head editor of the academic quarterly SEXUALITY AND CULTURE; he co-founded that journal in 1998.  He also edits the blog dankprofessor which focuses on sexual politics in higher education.  He is an Emeritus Professor of Sociology at California State University, Long Beach retiring in 2002.  He lives in art village Tubac, Arizona.  He can be contacted at dankprofessor@msn.com
